Hayden 5.15.2000 - 8.6.2024

This guy just takes my breath away. So much love. Hayden lived his life with courage, determination, stubbornness against a disease he didn’t ask for, and mostly a beautiful heart.

Yesterday he peacefully left us surrounded by family. I was holding his hand during it all and know that he was so thankful for all of his amazing friends and the life that he was able to live to its fullest with them. He did things I never thought he would be able to do and that is a testament to the power of friendship and his will to be independent.

We will be planning Hayden’s after party - “Haydenfest” - to happen later this year. In the meantime hold your memories of him near and dear to your heart.

Donations to the IFOPA can be made in his memory IFOPA.org/hayden

  3. I came across this story on social media and don’t know dear Hayden personally, but I want to offer condolences and prayers. Such a touch situation to go through, but God has a warm, comforting embrace I’m hopeful the family is able to find, as well the love and support of those around them.

  9. I've been a friend of Hayden for 7 years. We met through and played a lot of Dota 2, along with many other friends of ours. He never once complained about his health. He joined our calls and spoke even when he was having trouble with speaking. He couldn't become the most mechanically skilled player but he made up for it with his excellent teamwork and it was always a joy to game with him.
Hayden loved movies. The movie discussion channel in our group chat was named after him years ago and will forever stay that way. He was also a talented artist. I don't know much about this side of him but I know that he cared about it and he was good at it.
Above all else, he was a great friend. He was genuine, funny and simply enjoyable to hang out with. He will be remembered fondly by all of us.
